I have a pretty large collection of vintage Star Wars toys as well as many 1980s G.I.Joe, Transformers and MASK toys to sell. Also have a comic collection of 700+ issues of Marvel, DC comics. Many impotant issues, as well as many sought-after items in the toys list also. These would be better suited for a collector than staying with me. Trying to make room in the house and my collecting days have long since passed, and I would like these to go to someone who truly appreciates them now. Looking for room pictures from web sites of a 80′s inspired room. Featuring a mix of Star Wars, Legos, Transformers, GI Joe, Superheros things like that… Nothing to literal, like all Spiderman bedding… Any suggestions, would be helpful. Thanks

He always plays guns. He likes transformers, star wars, spider man, cars, trucks, average little boy stuff. I don’t mind him playing or watching for ex. Starwars since it teaches about doing and being good, and using there powers to be good. Most little boys his age watch
it. He has a light saber and it’s much better than a gun. He rather take his tinker toys and construct big guns. He outfits his entire waste line with knives
he has also made from tinker toys, if not tinker toys than sticks on the ground. I don’t want to shelter h, and I believe that boys should be allowed to play war. Every culture on this plant from the beginning to now have little boys who play war, but I’m wondering if he’s playing too much, and how to steer him away from so much violence, or even how to divert or channel that into something more positive.

What do you make of it–with my kids, they’re hoping for Star Wars figures, Cabbage Patch Kids etc–all this stuff I grew up on in the early 80′s is back and the kids want it!

Does it say something about the toys today, when they’re re-vamping the old toys–the My Little Ponies, Care Bears, Transformers etc, what’s next GI Joe (hope so!).

Hi. I am 16 yrs old. I am everything, just not your average teenager. I seem to be much smarter and more mature than my friends… and then again far more childish. For example, I play a lot of video games (you could call me a gamer) and watch a lot of movies. I also read philosophical works of Kant, Nietzsche and Plato. On Saturdays, while (most of) my friends are out drinking and whatnot, I’m in at a cinema watching a movie with my best friend, after which we will maybe eat something and then just go home where I’ll sit at a computer and play games until 2 am and then go to bed. I like toys and collectible figurines and Star Wars and all that kids stuff… and I also read Lacan and Jung and want to study psychology. While my friends are enjoying Avatar and Transformers, I watch One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and 2001: A Space Odyssey. I do not drink and I do not smoke. I also like to draw. I am not fat, but rather I am pretty slim and tall. Not too tall. Normal. I look normal too, I guess, nothing special. So what teh fu*k is wrong with me??

for the past couple of Christmas’s my mom has been doing this…

she keeps getting me gifts that arent for my age, today i was looking in the back of our car and i found a box of transformers and star wars toys…i dont understand why she thinks i would want something like that, im 17!!?

i thought she probably didnt know what to give me so i told her i just wanted some money for music and a giftcard for clothes, but she still got me "toys" meant for children…can someone please help me understand why she keeps doing this

i dont want to say anything to her about her gifts because i shouldnt be complaining about what she got me, that would just upset her…please help
its not for someone else, i asked her what she was getting all the kids in our family and she didnt say a thing about the gifts i found

and the only reason i dont want to ask her agian is because i asked her last year and she got extremely upset and said that if i didnt like her gifts then she shouldnt get me any at all…idk what her problem is, im going to college in a year i think she would realize i out grew that stage about 8 years ago

Most old toys are trash, but I have a few "iconic" toys such as a Lazer Tag helmet, gun & sensor, Star Wars walking thing, Transformers and an Atari.
I’m sure collectors would buy them if they were in good condition, but mine are a little rough and dirty…what should I do with them?
PS, I am all about saving toys for my kids someday or giving them to underprivileged kids or whatever,, but this question is specifically about toys that *may* be worth something (i.e. Star Wars toys)

Every opening and playing with any of your toys when you were kids? Seriously, with as much as classic Star Wars toys, Transformers and so many others are selling for on ebay its almost enough to regret even opening the packages!
I don’t regret it really, just curious who might. Gotta enjoy your childhood. Just wish some of the pieces weren’t missing to my Optimus Prime, lol.

My kids got invited to a girl’s barbie princess party and I want to know what gifts to get the birthday girl. I’ve been to the house and saw that she had every imaginable Barbie and girl toy out there, but I did not see any of the toys that my kids like – transformers, etc.. How do you think our gifts will go over?
