Is Santa Jedi or not?

So i put up a different form of this question, but for no reason it was deleted.

1) He wears the same clothes all the time.
2) He has supernatural speed and agility.
3) He’s a keeper of the peace, not a soldier.
4) He’s an excellent pilot, and he has a speeder we call a sleigh.
5) I would be willing to bet Sith are on his "naughty" list.
6) Given that he is responsible for the manufacture of most toys, he certainly has made many of his own lightsabers. Mostly little tiny plastic ones, but lightsabers nonetheless.
7) Some might think he’s a "crazy old wizard."
8) He can sense Dark and Light side.
9) He could use the Jedi mind trick on the people who are still awake when he comes. (A slight wave of the hand … You don’t see a jolly fat man in a red suit … I don’t see a jolly fat man in a red suit …)
10) He has the beard of a Jedi.
11) He wears the colors of the Republic: red and white!
12) His elves are related to Yoda.
13) When 900 years old you are, look as good you will not. Santa’s being a Jedi would definitely explain how his reindeer can fly. I looked for Santa in the Jedi Temple scenes from the recent Star Wars movies, but I never did see him. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t in there somewhere, though. Maybe I’ll go back and rewatch "The Empire Strikes Back" a little more closely to see if I can spot his old residence on Hoth. I feel safe in saying he could have learned "Ho Ho Ho" from Jabba the Hutt (or maybe that’s backward). And he most certainly uses his Jedi powers to squeeze himself through chimneys, not to mention he travels all around the world in one night. He would have to use Force speed to do that (and Force healing abilities when he lands in the fire of a fireplace)! So yes Virginia, Santa is a Jedi. I’m betting his lightsaber fell into a sack of toys (or he lost it when he crashed to Earth) and then there was some little boy, somewhere, who terrorized his sister, maybe even cut off her hand with it. Either way, we have treasured him. Come Wednesday night, if I see Santa flying a Jedi Starfighter, I think I’ll just take a drink of rum and go back to sleep.

Merry Christmas and may the Force be with you all!

I love the exciting modern classical music featured in movies and video games, especially if it is dark or exciting. All of the Star Wars movies and Halo game soundtracks come to mind. Are there any classical pieces or composers who wrote music like this?

Pretty much all classical music I have heard sounds either boring or cheerfully upbeat. There are some exceptions; I like Mozart’s Requiem for example.

At what age would you let your boy watch movies such as Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and the Pirates movies. My MIL said that her husband said that Iron Man was pretty violent so she wasn’t going to get it for my son (but she had originally planned on it). But at what age do you start letting your boys watch movies like that? I have not seen them but he has seen Spiderman movies (he was at the babysitters) and my in-laws gave him Star Wars movies and even want to get him Jurasic Park movies, I guess I just don’t really see much of a difference. It’s hard to keep kids from watching stuff like that since they come out with toys from these movies and they want the toys even if they haven’t seen it. They aren’t rated r they are pg13.
alrightmeanuglyangleisgone4good*
"Just because your kids want something doesn’t mean they get it! Your kids don’t have to see the latest movies or have all the toys they want." DUH!!! He is all too aware of that. And even if they get it doesn’t mean that they get to keep it either. Doesn’t matter who bought whatever it is or how much it cost.
"Is everything being EASY that important to you?" I said nothing of the sort. I simply said it’s not easy. If I wanted things to be easy for me I would hire people to do things for me or just not have had any kids.
G-Good point!

What Trilogy Was Better LOTR or Star Wars?

As a huge fan of the lotr books and movies, i wanna know what people think of as the best trilogy? The Lotr books were great, and the movies have to be my all time fav movies ever. The animation, special affects, acting, and music all put together made this trilogy the sh**. i think peter jackson did an amazing job. I honestly dont like star wars at all. I think the story line is cool and the whole theme and idea behind star wars is sick. but i think George Lucas did a terrible job on the recent star wars movies, it cud of been a lot cooler. What do you think?

My bro’s bday is tomorrow and he loves these games, but I can’t get both. he’s not really the piratey type, but likes the star wars movies. Pirates of Caribbean just released so it seems kinda better I guess. for your recommendations if anyone tried the 2 games, which one?

If we just taxed the evil, greedy corporations that are hoard all of OUR MONEY, this whole deficit problem would just go away and we could have all of our government ‘entitlements’, right?

"Tax those evil corporations!” you say? – If you flat out confiscated 100% of the 2010 profits of ALL of the Fortune 500 corporations you would only have enough B – just enough to run the government behemoth for about 5 and a half weeks.

If you also confiscated:

- ALL of the money ever spent on those outrageously expensive Super Bowl ads – 0M

- Every penny earned by all of those multi-millionaire athletes in the NFL, NBA, PGA, NHL, NASCAR – all of it – .4B

- Forget about taxing the rich; I say, LETS EAT THE RICH! Don’t just raise their taxes but take every last penny from every last American who earned more than 0K – take every penny! – .42T

- Grab every thin dime earned by the Star Wars movies, box office take, toys, and figures, ALL of it. – B

- Still blaming "Bush’s wars" for the deficit? OK, stop the wars and grab ALL of that money too. – 4B

- Evict all the wealthy Hollywood glitterati, fancy pants movie stars from their mansions and sell them; 15,000 mansions at an average M each – B

- I got it! What if every single billionaire in the country (400 of them – including Buffet, Gates and Zuckerburg) had an "unfortunate accident" and we got 50% of their massive fortunes (which they probably stole anyways) in estate taxes? – 0B

- Aw screw it! Just kill ALL of the billionaires and take ALL of their money and the next 100 or so nearly-billionaires too! – 0B

- Cut out ALL foreign aid, especially those evil Israelis (who, as we all know wouldn’t survive without the US hurling mountains of money at them). – B

OK, so you have completely taxed away all of the profits of the Fortune 500, professional sports millionaires, the Hollywood movie stars, ALL of the wicked, evil, greedy rich ɓąstards (that Michael Moore claims are hoarding the wealth), ended all foreign aid, surrendered both wars – and we’re still short. Every American man woman and child will have to chip in just (but that’s HUGE tax increase on the 47% of earners who now pay NOTHING) – and congratulations! You’ve paid the U.S. budget FOR ONE YEAR!

But you’ve also liquidated and destroyed the nation to do it. And you have even touched the national debt of .3 trillion, you would have to repeat all of the above four more times, but of course you can’t do that because the nation is now a third world wasteland.

OK, so if we’ve proven that we can’t tax our way out of this, can we all agree that we must DRASTICALLY cut spending – or are we still stuck on stooopid?

Coheed and Cambria & Star Wars?

I know Star Wars has had a huge impact on Coheeds music. I heard somewhere if you start the album In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3, simultaneously with one of the star wars movies (and mute the movie) that Coheeds album plays along with the action.

I was wondering if anyone tried this… it seems somewhat plausible to me since there are sort of random breaks in the music… ie) the intro it kinda sounds like a ship flying by, then when the next song ends after a few secs. it starts up again. Unfortunately I don’t have the Star Wars movies to try it.

Thanks,
Chris

Answer this question about Star Wars…?

Come on .. who else here thinks the music (score, etc.) makes the Star Wars movies AWSOME. Yes, the star wars movies are incredible, even without music, but how awsome is that score?!

For those of you who don’t know what the Imperial March is, it is essentially the theme song for Darth Vader and the Empire in the Star Wars movies.
Actually, the Brewers don’t use it for the opponent lineup, they just play a quote from the movie "Madagascar" and then play some generic music.

The video was about a guy not wanting to commit to the girl and running away from her. There were also always two choices given to him throughout that he could choose one or the other direction. The beginning and/or end of the song had a three note repeated cadence that almost sounded like a variation on the Darth Vadar theme in the Star Wars movies. For those of you not British, a pram is a baby buggy.

Star Wars movies and "Last of the Mohegans"?

In the game, Shadows of the Empire for the N64, what is the music that is playing on Ord Mantell Junkyard? I’ve heard it on one of the Star Wars movies.

Star Wars Clone Wars The Movie?

Does Anyone think that star wars clone wars the movie will do as good as any of the other star wars movies since its animated?

What is the best movie theme song?

My favorites are:
The theme music from the Superman movies, the Indiana Jones theme music, Star Wars theme music, Live and let Die from the James Bond movie.
Not just theme song, but movie song/score.

My favs are mostly John Williams. The theme music from the Star Wars movies, Indiana Jones movies and especially the Superman movies. I also am a big fan of Live and let die by Paul McCartney for the Bond movie of the same name, and "I don’t want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith from Armageddon.

I am currently working on developing my act for the World Juggling Championships. I am going to be using a Star Wars theme and I was hoping you guys would have some ideas to help me out a bit such as more ways to incorporate the theme in the act. Here’s what the routine is so far:
I enter the stage with the Star Wars theme song dressed in all black like Luke in the last bits of the last movie. A remote controlled R2D2 that I am making comes out of stage with my juggling balls. I pick up 5 balls and look confused. Then, I hear the clip from the movie "Use the Force Luke." I do a 5-8 ball routine with music from the Star Wars movies. Then Darth Vader enters the scene. I "use the force" (having sum1 throw it from offstage) to get a "light-saber" (juggling club) and battle Vader and nobody wins. Darth exits. I use the force to get 2 more clubs and do my 3 club routine. I get another to do the 4 club routine and another 2 for 6 clubs. As Vader re-enters I leave 5 clubs on the ground as I use the 6th to battle Vader. After Vader’s defeat the song they play at the credits comes on as I do the final trick of 5 clubs behind my back. Then I bow and leave the stage.

Harry Potter books, movies, toys, etc. vs. Star Wars movies, toys, books, comics, etc.

Which one piece do you think is the most iconic of all the Star Wars movies?
Which overtures do you like the most as second and third favorites?

Out of all the movements and overtures that John Williams composed for all the Star Wars movies.

Which are your most favorite pieces of music.

Which is the most iconic to you that singularly sums up the movie series?

I like to think of all the music, for all six movies, it would be Leia’s Theme. Which is from the first movie SW- IV, Though I also fancy the Battle for Yavin, which started the whole mess in the first place.

I actually liked it.It may not be like the other star wars movies with romance and drama.People just want to see what they saw in the other movies. This movie is more for the kids.

And what do you think about the show?
