Teens: What movie should I watch?

There was no school today. It’s dreary. It’s raining. And in a couple hours I wanna curl up with some hot chocolate and watch a movie before bed. I just can’t decide what I want to watch. This question may get log because I want to list all the DVDs in my room at the moment.

Smokey and The Bandit
The Lost Boys
Sixteen Candles
Ghostbusters
Interview With the Vampire
The Mothman Prophecies
All three Back To The Future movies
Jumper
All four Indiana Jones movies
The first six Harry Potter movies
Bram Stoker’s Dracula
10 Things I Hate About You
A Knight’s Tale
Star Wars: Revenge of The Sith
Transformers
Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen
Sleepy Hollow

What movie should I watch on this rainy, dreary, gray, semi-depressing labor day evening?

Is this pretty normal for an 8 yr. old boy?

He just went into his room and came out draped in all his toy guns, cowboy holsters and walkie-talkie set. (Is marching around the livingroom) He said his communication system is working. LMAO. Whatever he sees on tv (Star Wars or Indiana Jones, etc.) he comes out of his room dressed like it and ready to role play. He does other things like ride his bike outside and play with friends, but he does the commando dress-up thing quite a bit. Do you have kids or a little boy who does this?

Which composer is the best out of the two? John Williams (STAR WARS, JURASSIC PARK, E.T. THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL, JAWS, INDIANA JONES, HARRY POTTER, etc.) or Robert Folk (POLICE ACADEMY, TOY SOLDIERS, ACE VENTURA, etc.) ?

(John Williams STAR WARS)

(John Williams JURASSIC PARK)

(Robert Folk LAWNMOWER MAN 2)

(Robert Folk THE NEVER ENDING STORY 2)

Can I become a Youtube Partner?

I have over 2,000 subscribers and over 4,000,000 views on my videos. However, they ALL are lego stop motion videos. I haven’t used any title character lego toys (like batman, star wars, or indiana jones) however I have used a few holiday seasonal ones like skeletons, ghosts, dragons, and goblins.
The most subscribed youtuber who makes lego stop motion is ForestFire101 I believe, HOWEVER he isn’t a youtube partner. I was wondering why this is? Are legos copyrighted? Even if I don’t ever use the word "Lego"?
Can stop motion lego videos get revenue sharing? All the music in my videos and voices are created by me as well.

On last night’s oscars, shortly after Tom Hanks spoke, an orchestra conductor had his band do a very short medley of movie  music.  There was Star Wars, E T , Indiana Jones, but what was the last song (or movie).  I know it but can’t place it and It’s driving me nuts.

BQ: Favorite movie franchise that I didnt list?

I am a HUGE Star Wars fan. I love to have Star Wars marathons every year. I believe Star Wars is the best movie saga ever made! Right up there with Toy Story, Lord of the Rings, Shrek, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, etc. And I am fully aware that there is an Expanded Universe. A type of canon with all these novels, games, comics, etc. And I used to like it, but then I learned that Chewbacca, one of my favorite SW characters (gulp) croaked! And if that wasn’t bad enough I also learned that Han and Leia’s son, Anakin, dies also, and that there other son went to the Dark Side. And just to really ruin my weekend, Palpatine and other Sith Lords come back to life!!! And Luke Skywalker, a Jedi, gets MARRIED!?!?!?!!?? I know his Dad got married, but C’MON! He’s just going to put the Galaxy to more doom!
Now I realize that the Expanded Universe is not a very bright idea. I mean, it’s okay to expand a franchise, but I feel as though Star Wars is being expanded way too much. I’m okay if you guys like reading the novels and comics, and playing the games. I’ll admit, the books are well written (mostly) and the video games are a lot of fun. But to me, six movies and occasionally the Clone Wars micro-series is enough! A couple years ago, I learned of a thing called canon. What is and what isn’t official. I guess my question is….
Do I HAVE to accept the Expanded Universe as FACT? I mean, when I’m watching Return of the Jedi, can’t I just say they all lived happily ever after? I mean, haven’t they gone through enough? Just please tell me so I can get this off my mind for good. Thank You!
ps What do you guys think of Star Wars the Clone Wars cgi series? Does it do justice to the Original Trilogy, or is it on the same level as the Holiday Special and prequels?
GOD BLESS YOU! And..
May The Force Be With You… Always! :)

I wish to get my twin sister some thing special for x-mas,she’s into star wars, indiana jones & others more collectible toys. I’m just a little hesitant buying online specially when it come to collectible items. has anyone have any troubles/problems dealing with any of these sites?

Indiana Jones versus Star Wars?

Which do you enjoy more? Why?

What about theme song-wise?

Personally, I like Indiana Jones better for both its story and music. But Star Wars is fantastic too.

Star Wars and Indiana Jones?

Has anyone noticed the last song in Indiana Jones (when Indy and Marian are walking out of the museum) is the same song as Leah’s theme in Star Wars?
I know that John Williams did the soundtrack. At first, I thought they were just similar, but after seeing both movies again recently, I know for a fact that it’s the same.

i think it is the score for the indiana jones movies

Are you still young at Heart?

The reason I ask this is that most people who know me would perceive me (in some ways) to be a 32 year old stick in the mud and beyond my years (I suppose this would be the heavy influence of my Grandpa who was a Corporal Acting Sergeant in Burma and retained his intolerance and reactionary viewpoints.

I digress, normally I take things quite seriously and always over analyse but lately there has been a breakthrough to this shell being:

Indiana Jones.

I’m so looking forward to the release later this month and the inner child is getting all excited. Because I’ve chosen to go to the premiere all dressed up complete with a fedora and all the trimmings. I don’t normally get excited like this (although I did go to Star Wars celebration Europe last year and totally let my hair down which included buying a replica lightsaber and wildly thrashing it about in my hotel room jumping on and off the bed) but as for Indiana Jones it just takes me back to a happy part of my childhood.
When I was younger I pretended that the stairs was a steep cliff face or I went through an arranged stunt where I would chuck myself onto a chair that fell back onto padding whilst playing John Williams theme tune at full blast.
I think part of this is my deep rooted admiration to Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford.
Even now I’m planning on changing my avatar name and pic – okay I admit I’ve digressed a great deal with this question which I feel only goes to serve my utter excitement and have momentarily lapsed from my rather boring questions lol.

I read an interview with the developer of Lego Batman on GameInformer.com and the interviewer made the comment that in Lego Star Wars you could unlock Indiana Jones’ character which the dev did not deny … I have the PS2 version and he’s not in that one..
so I was wondering which version it was in? Thanks.

I know, it’s kind of a random question but I wanted to see which of these 3 of the most recognizable themes do people like more. :)

Jurassic Park:

Indiana Jones:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1c05_yXmaI

Star Wars:

My personal favorite out of these 3 is the Jurassic Park theme. Its very uplifting. I’d say Star Wars is a close 2nd, then Indiana Jones.

I don’t know which one to get, some advice would be nice. I do like indiana jones more but lego star wars seems more fun and longer. Plus I found out in both games you can get each others characters. SUUUUUUCH a hard choice please help me.
