Lego Star Wars, should I get it for WII or DS?

I’ve decided to get Lego Star wars the complete saga. I sort of have bad eye sight and a bit worried wouldn’t be able to play it on DS.
Is there much difference between the two? I would prefer the DS version assuming its about same thing. Not sure of the difference between them. Any help would be great!

My opinion is to get it for the Wii because on the DS the screen is a bit small.But on the Wii, you probably get to use the Wiimote as a lightsaber! Isn’t that a bit better than the DS. Plus i’m pretty sure that on the Wii, you get to play with 2 players with 2 Wiimotes! Hoped that helped.
The answer is neither, go out and buy a PS3. If that isn’t an option then play it on the Wii. Doesn’t swinging the Wiimote just sound uber fun. The DS version will be lacking so many qualities because it is a smaller screen and more data has to fit in to the small card.
