Okay this has been bugging me for years! Well to get straight to it, I’m trying to remember the name of or find a link to a toy from my past.

I believe there were multiple of these of different masks, but I think i had Boba or Jengo Fett.

The toy was of the helmet of the character and you could open the helmet and when you opened it it was like a girls doll house or something. But this was really small since it was like smaller than a helmet.

There were little rooms in the helmet with little pegs you can stick little Star Wars figurines to and it was like interactive.

I have never watched Star Wars before and my GF was shocked. So we rented all of the six films and we actually watched them in the order they came out. The first three were EPIC, fantastic. And such a sad story. Music is awesome. The only thing bothering me was them understanding the howling of Chewie. But I was shocked with the whole "Luke I am your father thing". I have seen comedy clips of that scene but never the actual scene.

But then I watched the first three. And oh my god were they crap in comparrison. What is up with the Jar Jar character. And like where is the passion in their acting like there was in the first three. And the scenes with Padmé and Anakin in the second movie were pain full to watch. But the third was pretty good actually. The third was actually my favorite of the first three.

I kind of like Star Wars now and I was wondering what else is there to watch, read or what ever? Anything you can recommend or anything I should stay away from?

I’m a 17 year old teenage guy, and I want one of those Amazing Allysen dolls that I’ve seen at meijer and Walmart. I want one simply because it seems to have an advanced AI for a toy of it’s type. I want one simply cause the engineering just looks too cool. However, if I get one, will it almays talk about 8-year-old-girl stuff. Then it would just be the kind of doll that just sits there. Maybe she could hang with Duke, Tunnel RaT, Cobra Commander. Will Amazing Allysen be able to understand that I am a teenage guy and not interested in hair and fasion and be able to talk about HALO and Star Wars. I want to get one of the dolls so that I can have a super cool Artificial Inteligence in my room that I can talk to and say, "Wow, That’s cool." But, if she’s only ever going to talk about things related to a 5 year old girl, I don’t think it will be worth my time or money.

The Best is Episode 2 The Empire Strikes Back. It is NOT Dark but with much more Drama, which makes better music. It has a lot more Peril and is Very Ominous. The escapes are daring but much much more Desperate. With Drama and the situations, It is the Best Film?

He just went into his room and came out draped in all his toy guns, cowboy holsters and walkie-talkie set. (Is marching around the livingroom) He said his communication system is working. LMAO. Whatever he sees on tv (Star Wars or Indiana Jones, etc.) he comes out of his room dressed like it and ready to role play. He does other things like ride his bike outside and play with friends, but he does the commando dress-up thing quite a bit. Do you have kids or a little boy who does this?

I’m not a parent, only 19.. but I have a 9 year old nephew who I need to find a Christmas present for. I used to just send money, but most kids would rather get toys than money, right?

HI, I have a game called Star Wars Empire at War Gold Pack that comes with Forces of Corruption. The regular single player game-play works great. No lag, no shuttering, nothing. Absolutely perfect. Now my problem. I have full account information, everything with gamespy arcade and account information is okay. The problem is, it will connect, and takes me into the screen that lists: Custom Match, Community, etc. It will list everything including the players online and how many matches are available, but it freezes. The only thing that is happening is the theme music playing and I can move the mouse pointer around. It will not respond, so I hit the Ctrl-Alt-Del button’s and I end the program. Itry t over and over, but still, nothing. Help please? Thank You! : )

What is the Star Wars fan-base like? I see online that many people either hate the Star Wars prequels or love it. (Personally I love Phantom Menace because of my childhood memories playing the pod-race game and playing with Darth Maul’s light saber toy although I now know many things were unnecessary). Many people either hate George Lucas or love him. Many people either agree that the story is about Anakin or the story is about Luke. Can anyone help out a new fan understand? (I was always a fan of Star Wars but only recently have I REALLY gotten into it). Also how many books and comics are there? There are six movies but there are a HORDE of games, books, and other shenanigans going into depth with the Universe. Where do I start?

So let me tell you why the Star Wars DVDs are the best (everything I’m going to tell you below, remember that there’s 18 of these menu things!)

First, it randomly picks on of the 3 (for all 6 DVDs), then it shows a Ship flying to the Planet.

Every DVD has the same menu everywhere (the keep the DVDs matching each others, they all even have 50 chapters through all 6 movies). There’s always a bit of movement everywhere you look, on every menu. Even on the main menu, the window that shows parts of the movie, it doesn’t show scenes, it flips through all the main characters one after the other.

If you click Play movie, it shoulds some movement of something in the background before leaving the Main Menu (as with everything, there’s always background movement from going to one part of the menu to another). Oh and everywhere, there’s background music.

The chapter selection has two backgrounds (all movies have 50 chapters), background 1 for 1-5, background 2 for 6-10, and then repeats; 1 for 11-15, 2 for 16-20 and so on to Bg 2 for 46-50.
Also, you can only view 5 chapters at a time, when changing from one part of the chapter selection, it shows a little something happened in between. Looking at the last digit in every number between 1-50, let’s break the chapters into groups of 1-5 and 6-0. There are 4 different things shown in the background when going from one part of the chapter menu to another; when going from

1-5 to a 6-0
1-5 to another 1-5
6-0 to another 6-0
6-0 to a 1-5

Oh, and let’s not forget, the five windows that show what part of the movie you’re looking at, those windows are not still, they are moving to show a few seconds of that part of the movie, and it has a name for each chapter (including “Open Titles” for Ch 1, “Ending Credits” for Ch 50, and the name of the Episode (movie) for Ch 2).

Even the Language setting have music and movement in the background. And they all have Spanish (but not all have French, who cares about French anyway).

Ok, so everything I just said, there’s 3 sets of all this on each DVD for 6 movies, that’s 18 sets of everything I just said.

Here’s my question, why is Star Wars the only DVD putting this much effort into making a good DVD (or DVD set)? Why don’t all the other DVD movies try and make more than one DVD menu for itself? I mean you get bored with other DVD menus because it’s the same one every time. With Star Wars, each one has 3 DVD menus with it Randomly picks, and they all match with each other (all 18 of them).

I get stuck on the part where you have to pull two levers to open a door and then when I go through the door I have to pull 8 more levers. There are two ports on each side of the door I open.

Please help, I have a boyfriend that I am crazy for. The other day when logging onto facebook I scrolled down the main page and saw that he commented on this girls status labeled "Dear future boyfriend". Obviously I was curious and took a peek. She had made a list to her "future boyfriend" saying how she likes star wars, and plays guitar everyday and so on. My boyfriend went to comment on it saying how she had good qualities and that he has expressed to her mulitple times that he wished they could have gone out. do old star wars lego sets from 1998-2005 sell on ebay for more money than they originally cost? i know that they post for higher, but do they actually sell? do the individual mini figures really sell for each?

My kid, Buster, was complaining that he only made babysitting the Fenster kids up the street.

I told him, as he stood there incredulous, that it would take me two weeks of a paper route in 1982 to earn what he made in a few hours.

He tried to counter something about inflation, but I relayed that toys costs about the same today, not even including inflation.

Videogames — top games then were , as they are today. Consoles, 0-350, about the same. And today there are bargain bins and used games.

Dolls and figures — Star Wars and Barbies seem about the same price for the basic figures. Again, there are budget options online today I didn’t have back when.

Matchbox cars — about a buck.

Bikes — typical Huffy is about 0, same as back in the day.

CDs — these may actually be cheaper today than in the 80s.

Music players — a Walkman did cost more than a non-Apple mp3 player today.

So kids are in a much better position today, no?
